Self tests

A self test can help you decide what to do

If your main problem is about worrying and being on edge, or spells of panic, take the Anxiety test. If it’s more about feeling low and miserable, try the Depression Test. If you’re not sure, check out both of them.

Depression test

Feeling sad or miserable most of the time?

When you’re going through a tough time it’s normal to feel down for a while, emotions like sadness and grief help make us human. But if you’re feeling sad or miserable most of the time over a long period of time, you might have depression.

Take this self-test to help figure out whether you’re showing any of the warning signs of depression. This won’t give you a diagnosis but it will help you decide the next step.

Anxiety test

Been feeling nervous, anxious or on edge?

Take this self-test to see if Anxiety’s involved. This isn’t a diagnosis but it’ll help you figure out what might be the next steps to take next.

It helps to try to think about the last two weeks, rather than just when you felt very anxious or stressed. Also remember that this test is just one part of an assessment of whether anxiety might be a problem for you. There’s more to it, like getting feedback from people who know you well, and looking at how long anxiety’s been a problem for you and how it impacts on your life.
